Be road aware: stop using your cell phone while driving

The Insurance Corporation of B.C. has just conducted a survey through Ipsos Reid  that shows nine in 10 people believe texting or emailing while driving is one of the most dangerous things drivers can do, but some people still admit doing it. The survey also found that 76 per cent of people think distracted driving is just as dangerous as drinking and driving. 50 per cent of people surveyed said they have seen people on their phones while driving.

It seems that we all know that driving and texting is dangerous, and illegal yet many admit to still doing it. Let’s all be responsible and keep our texting and cell phone use out of our cars and if you have to use your phone when driving, pull over. If we obey the law’s we will all be safer both on and off the road.
